The exterior is made from 100% wool coats that has been felted down by the boiled wool method and then hand dyed to achieve the beautiful colors. Each slipper is hand cut along with all the appliques. The appliques are then stitched in place and next the slipper is assembled. The sole of the slipper is an anti-abrasive synthetic suede, which is used for a nonskid sole. The linings are of a fleece lining from recycled fleece clothing and throws.
